photography give the Voice a ton of personality and visual appeal. The
broadsheet looks contemporary and professional – some of Michigan’s smaller
dailies could take some design lessons from the Voice. Keep up the great work.

Compact and cleanly designed, the tab is filled with content
and still manages to use multiple pieces of big art to keep its pages looking lively.
Avoid using clip art to fill weird design gaps and work on improving your headlines
to fill space. LOVE the use of QR codes to tie print and online together. Nice work!
