Judge Feedback: Very impressed with this illustration! It connects with the content of the article well which is the ultimate goal as an illustrator. This uses a clean drawing technique that allows the emotion of the graphic to shine through. The use of contrasting shadows and facial expressions give the illustration a bit of a “sinister” feel that compliments the article. Great job!

Judge Feedback: Very nice illustration overall. The use of color really stands out against the flat gray background. The textures throughout give it a nice balance between the solid shadows. The thick black outlines add that extra dimension that frames the illustration and gives depth. Great use of font choices and font colors that tie back to the color of the design overall. Very well done!
